Church Audio Fundamentals
Church Audio Fundamentals is a training session tailored to Church volunteers and staff involved in operating Sound.
We’d love to invite you to SFL to join us for Church Audio Fundamentals, where our team of professional audio engineers and educators will guide you through a course designed to give you the tools to make sound in your Church better.
We’ll cover everything from getting the best input, all the way through processing and dealing with mixing consoles, to produce a better output. There’ll be lots of hands on time, to enable you to try new techniques, and the opportunity to meet other Church techs! Our team have lots of tips and tricks that will help you get better results, from how to run a soundcheck, how to troubleshoot, all the way through to ‘what does that button do?!’
The course is designed to be accessible to those with very little experience, whilst also offering great insights and new tips and tricks for those who’ve been doing it a while.
Participants don’t need to bring anything – though may wish to bring something to take notes with, and a pair of headphones for the practical parts of the day (don’t worry if you don’t have any, we will have some available).

What is the refund/cancellation policy?
Spaces on all of our courses are strictly limited and we put considerable resource into running the course based upon your booking. For this reason we do not accept cancellations and no refund will be offered if you are unable to attend, however you may nominate another named individual to attend in your place.
Cancellations due to extenuating circumstances may be considered for deferral to a future course at SFL’s discretion. SFL’s decision in such matters is final, previous decisions do not establish a precedent. In the unlikely event that SFL have to cancel or reschedule a course and you are unable to make the new dates a full refund will be provided.

A light lunch is included – please let us know of any dietary requirements. Refreshments including tea and coffee will be available throughout the day. We are also a short drive from local amenities.
