In 2020, St Mary’s Hampton
under went a major refurbishment of the interior of the Church.
This included a state of the art AV system. With the Church hosting both contemporary worship style and traditional services, the Church required a system that could handle both speech and music that would blend with the building’s new aesthetic.
Working closely with the Church’s project team, SFL has installed a distributed point source system from d&b audiotechnik’s xS and xC ranges, with Allen & Heath SQ6 Mixing desk and ME Personal Monitors, supported by radio mics and stage cabling system.
To aid sight lines from behind pillars, several smaller Panasonic screens were installed around the Church, as well as a larger Panasonic 65” on a trolley to aid services with visual media. These are controlled via a Roland XS-42H switcher and feed via a CYP distribution system.
